Zalia

Day 1 back at work after the Eid celebration, I was tasked to be in a situation where I had to be back in my work clothes. Easy to run around in and more.

So when it was suggested that the trio met up at Ratna's place, I knew it was the perfect moment to dress up and bring the Zalia out of the closet.

This is perhaps my first purchase from Zalora for myself.

I love the smokey details spread around the dress. Mom says the dress makes me look like an angel floating around as I walked. Mama, your daughter is an angel, hahahahhah.

I paired the flawy dress with the Camellia from Sufyaa. The Camellia has always been my favourite choice whenever possible. This time round, Sufyaa came up with the satin edition of the Camellia. As always, it's super easy to be worn for any occasion.

Hope your celebration has been as fun as mine :*

That time of the Year

Syawal is definitely a great month after a month of fasting.

It is that time of the year where we look for any excuse to go visiting, meeting up with close and distant family members, friends, neighbours and many more. It gives us a reason to cook up a storm, invite others over, most importantly, a reason to seek forgiveness if we have not done so.

This year's Syawal fell on a Friday, we had the extra weekend to do more visiting, accepting open house invitations and a reason to stay a bit longer than usual at some places since well, we have not been catching up for a while and we are not working the next day.

I have been busy with work since the long break ended.
Hence, my postings have not been as updated as I would like it to be. There are days where I am at work for almost 12 hours and continuing with work at home. I love my job even though I do not talk much about it. I love what I do and coming home to dinner and chatting while enjoying our TV time with my parents are probably the best blessing on a daily basis to me.

Thanx to Eid, I appreciate this once a year affair where I bumped into long time no see people who share the same bloodline with me as well as long-lost friends who used to spend time with before responsibilities come into play in our lives.

It is another long weekend here in Singapore. There's quite a bit of work that I will need to catch up with here as well as heading out to tag along with my parents to visit both sides of the endless family tree.

But first, it's time for that signature the tarik of mine and clearing that laundry. Oh and perhaps a visit down to the nursery for a new bunch of flowers.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend ahead.

Love To Dress

 Eid Mubarak!

Especially to all my Muslim brothers and sisters located all over the world. The holy month of Ramadhan has left us and now it is time for us to celebrate the month of Syawal, along with all the goodies and the entire package deal that comes along with it.

To all of you out there, on behalf of my family and I, please forgive us of any wrongdoings that we have caused you. We are humans and we do hope to become better people and better Muslims as we grow older along the way.

So aside from the food and goodies and all that gatherings, I definitely enjoy looking for a reason to dress up for the occasion.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri

What Happened?

We are in the third leg of Ramadhan.

Work has started again, hence, my life has started revolving back around my workload. I have so many things to note down, but I am having a harder time now to commit to my writing space as compared to the blocked leave days.

Somehow I can't seem to fall asleep tonight. I have been tossing and turning for the past hour or so. I am sure this time, it is not the caffeine I had earlier.

Actually, I was greeted with a news earlier today.

Did I expected it? Yes and no, I am not sure how to explain it. Maybe if someone who was in my shoes heard it too, they would perhaps understand what I am feeling.

I am trying as best as possible to be as vague as I can here without letting out too much details. This is because I worry about the ripple effect it may cause others and myself, as well as my (maybe even other's) future.

Oh btw, if u are reading this and if u know me before or after today, please do not ask me what or who this entry is about. I might not be able to remember or I might not wish to remember the exact details. Consider this as one of my many random thoughts (and I do have many) for the night.

So, back to my thoughts.

Did I expected the news?
Yes, I expected it to happen. Sooner or later, it has to happen anyway.

Did I expected it to happen so soon?
Well, not really. I was expecting it to be later rather than sooner to be frank. But I don't run people's lives, so my expectations don't count here.

Am I happy it happened?
From the bottom of my heart, I am. Truly :)

All I can do, is pray for the best for everyone. He knows what is best for all of us. So if this is the best for all, then Alhamdulilah. I am a nobody to question Him and whatever He has planned for us.

If you are reading this and you kinda figured that this entry is about you, I am happy for u, for paving the path towards your happiness, in shaa Allah.
