During my recent trip up north, I finally got the chance to visit Mimpi Kita boutique located at Jalan Telawi 2. I think I was too excited to check out their amazing place that I totally forgot to document the virgin visit to their boutique on my Instagram for memory keepsake.
The last time I was in the area was 2 years ago. Back then, the boutique was closed. I was heartbroken for a while back then. You see, I have always been getting their outfits online from Fashion Valet. And usually if I love the designer's creation, I would try to make an effort to check out what is not sold online, so that some of my clothes are not similar to their other fans. I kind of like it when someone comes up to me and say,
Someone: Hi, this outfit looks great on you. Where did you get this outfit from?
Me: Thanks. Well this is from Mimpi Kita.
Someone: Oh? I don't remember seeing this piece. Must have been sold out already.
Me: Don't worry, Mimpi Kita always come up with beautiful pieces all the time, in shaa Allah your rezeki might be in their next collection.
Since I never had the chance to visit Mimpi Kita's boutique previously, I made an effort to drop by their boutique this time round and check out what is in store. Boy was I in luck. Not only did they have some of the pieces I have been looking for which are sold out online, they had recently released some designs not made available anywhere online except in their boutique. How can I leave the boutique without trying them and getting some to add to luggage?
I have to admit, the warmth and friendliness of the beautiful people, Tati and Nurul of Mimpi Kita made my shopping experience at Mimpi Kita perhaps an unforgettable one. Tati was very patient with me, assisting me to try out the different pieces, looking for the right size for my petite frame and ensuring I, girl-next-door Mimi, looks good in their pieces. I also liked the fact that as a brand, they made sure that one who wears a Mimpi Kita clothing line, feels wonderful and look good wearing them. It is these kind of personal touch that I felt was something that I would head back to Mimpi Kita boutique for. What more can say? Mimi definitely loves Mimpi Kita. You can probably see the sparkling stars in my eyes when I wore their pieces.
And if you are wondering which piece I absolutely love from Mimpi Kita which is not released anywhere online, it is this pink stylo milo pink asymmetrical belted pink top.
This top fit me absolutely well and it fits a casual date night or meet up with my loved ones anytime. Pair it with tight white pants and comfy nude heels, I think I am ready to conquer KL again soon.
